It has the high end Hardware used on all of our products, metal side release buckles, slides and welded D rings. We never use plastic as it is a petroleum product and always breaks down, eventually cracking, metal will last a lifetime! We use nylon webbing which is soft and has a much higher tensile strength than polypropylene.
