We use nylon webbing which has a tensile strength of 4200-5500 lbs per square inch versus only 600 with a polypropylene leash. Nylon withstands more abrasion and has a very high melt point of 300 degrees.
All stress points are triple stitched for added strength.
We only use high end metal hardware for our leashes and collars - NEVER PLASTIC. Plastic cracks over time and does not withstand the wear and tear needed. The buckles are a side release zinc alloy, along with the slide and welded D rings. The leashed have a side bolt clip for safety.
